MEET JACKIE

A California native with an adventurous spirit, Jackie moved to New York City carrying a B.A. in Communication Studies and Organizational Leadership and a lifelong curiosity about what makes us feel connected, understood, and alive. Drawn to the inner workings of human relationships and fueled by a love of learning, she continued her studies at New York University, earning an M.A. in Media, Culture, and Communication.

Alongside her academic work, Jackie built a dynamic career in the global fashion and entertainment industries. Yet as she moved through these fast-paced, outward-facing worlds, she quickly recognized a deeper need: to cultivate a mindful balance between accomplishment and inner wholeness, between doing and simply being.

An explorer at heart, Jackie followed that call inward. While on retreat at a monastery in Nepal, she encountered Tibetan Buddhist teachings that resonated like a homecoming. That experience opened a path she has continued to walk with devotion and curiosity, studying across lineages and integrating ancient wisdom into modern life.

Building on her dedication to inner transformation, Jackie has completed various teacher trainings and certifications that ground her teaching in lived experience and embodied wisdom. Bringing these threads together, she hopes to help others experience the same integration of inner and outer worlds that has shaped her own path. She continues her studies with Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche and serves as a practice leader in his international community, Tergar.

Based in New York City, Jackie teaches meditation and Buddhist Studies while nurturing her two amazing young sons. She leads daily meditation classes on the Journey LIVE app and is a regularly featured instructor with Alo Wellness Club. She teaches in A Mindful World and Dharma Moon’s Yearlong Buddhist Studies Programs, and mentors aspiring educators as they learn to share these profound practices. Jackie is also the co-founder of Cōv Pregnancy, a supportive program nurturing women through their transformation into motherhood and beyond.

Her work has been featured in Shape, Cosmo, and TimeOut New York. She has guest lectured at Universities across the country, from University of Washington to Columbia University, and has taught for companies like Microsoft, Reebok, Live Nation, Ralph Lauren, and many others.

Known for her warm and accessible style, Jackie helps people cultivate both the practice of meditation and the art of mindful living. Through teaching, community building, and meaningful partnerships, she remains committed to supporting others in discovering a deep connection within themselves and with the world.
